Commission of Inquiry opens into Travizory border agreement

By Gilliana Anacoura

The Commission of Inquiry into the Border Management Service Agreement between the Republic of Seychelles and Travizory Border Security SA formally commenced its proceedings yesterday afternoon at the Palais de Justice, Ile du Port, Mahé.

This Commission was established by the President of the Republic of Seychelles, following his announcement earlier this year during the State of the Nation Address. In doing so, the Head of State reaffirmed the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability in matters of national importance – particularly those touching on the integrity of public administration and the safeguarding of national interests.
