Cabinet approves VAT amendments, Seychelles to host ICOM youth forum |05 September 2026

President Patrick Herminie chaired a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, September 2, during which several legal and policy memoranda were approved.

Cabinet endorsed amendments to the Value Added Tax (Refunds for Persons Engaged in Farming, Fishing and Supporting Activities) Regulations, 2018 to extend VAT exemption to construction services directly and exclusively related to the assembly and installation of VAT‑exempt goods imported in disassembled form.
