Minister engages tourism operators in Bel Ombre |12 September 2026

Minister for Tourism & Culture Amanda Bernstein yesterday carried out her first official visits to hotels and small tourism establishments in Bel Ombre, continuing a longstanding tradition established by her predecessors.

Beginning at 8.15am, the minister and her team toured 12 establishments, meeting hotel management and staff, gaining first‑hand insight into operations, and hearing directly from industry stakeholders about opportunities and challenges in the sector. The visits formed part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to maintain direct engagement and strengthen communication with tourism partners.

The establishments visited included Row’s Villa, Augerine Small Hotel, Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay, Waterlily Guesthouse, La Maison Hibiscus, STORY Seychelles, Whispering Palms Self Catering, Cove Holiday Apartment, The Drake Sea Side Apartment, Surfers Cove, The Palm Seychelles, and Skyline View.
