Assembly motion calls for greater MNA role in district decisions

A motion calling on the government to adopt an inclusive approach and involve National Assembly members (MNAs) in decisions taken at district level – aimed at improving services for residents and benefiting communities and the country as a whole – was accepted by the National Assembly yesterday.

The motion, presented by the elected member for Anse Etoile, Hon. Georges Romain, received 10 votes in favour, while 14 members abstained. No member voted against it.
