Teachers’ Day 2026 |06 October 2026

LDS reaffirms support for teachers

“On this Teachers’ Day, Linyon Demokratik Seselwa (LDS) salutes all teachers across Seychelles for your dedication, patience, and unwavering commitment to shaping the future of our nation.

“You are the builders of knowledge, the guardians of values, and the inspiration behind every success story in our islands. In classrooms from Mahé to Praslin and La Digue, you do far more than teach lessons – you nurture dreams, instil discipline, and prepare our young Seychellois to become responsible citizens and leaders of tomorrow.

“LDS recognises the challenges you face daily, and we reaffirm our commitment to valuing the teaching profession, improving your working conditions, and investing in quality education for all.

“Thank you for your service. Happy Teachers’ Day to all our educators!”
