Committee submits SBC board shortlist |10 October 2026

The Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) Select Committee yesterday submitted its report to President Patrick Herminie at State House.

The committee was established under Section 8(3) of the SBC Act to strengthen the independence, professionalism and accountability of the national public broadcaster.

In accordance with the Act, the President appointed a three-member committee to identify and recommend seven suitable candidates for appointment to the SBC board. From this list, the President will appoint four board members.
