Speaker Ernesta leads Seychelles delegation at 153rd IPU Assembly

The Speaker of the National Assembly of Seychelles, Hon. Azarel Ernesta, led the Seychelles parliamentary delegation to the 153rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), held in Arusha, United Republic of Tanzania, from October 5 to 9, 2026.

The delegation comprised Hon. Sathya Naidu, Hon. Claudette Louise, director in the Office of the Speaker Nickey Antat, and IPU desk officer Haley Payet.
