Health centre operating hours adjusted due to adverse weather

The Ministry of Health wishes to inform the public that, due to ongoing adverse weather conditions, temporary changes to health service operations are in effect until further notice.

The following health centres close at 2pm:

• Port Glaud
• Beolière
• Takamaka
• Baie Lazare
• Glacis

The larger health centres will continue operating according to the following schedule:

• Beau Vallon: until 4pm
• English River Health Centre (ERHC): until 10pm
• Les Mamelles: until 4pm
• Anse Aux Pins: until 4pm
• Anse Royale: 24-hour service
• Anse Boileau: 24-hour service
• Baie Ste Anne: 24-hour service
• Grand Anse Praslin: until 4pm
• St Mary's Hospital, La Digue: 24-hour service

The ministry apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for their understanding and cooperation.

Members of the public are advised to avoid unnecessary travel and to seek medical care at the nearest operational health facility if required.
