Being attentive to the dynamics of the labour market has led young entrepreneur Pria Denousse to launch her own business to help people who are looking for jobs or would like to have a careerchange.

MrsDenousse,aformerteacher,marketingexecutiveandadmin/informationmanager,saidthatshedecided to launch such a business because she felt that despite the various challenges that people arecurrently facing on the labour market, there was an opportunity.

“With the announcement of the President that the Unemployment Relief Scheme (URS) will soon be abolished and the number of redundancies happening in different sectors due to the impact of Covid-19, I felt that there was the need for such a business in Seychelles,” explained Mrs Denousse.

“To take up new employment or if you wish to make a career change, you need a CV to be able to market yourselfandtomakealastingimpressiontobecalledforaninterview.ThisiswhereResumeJetcomesin,” said Mrs Denousse.

Resume Jet was officially launched on Monday February 1 and is aimed at helping job seekers to create their portfolio which includes cover letter and CV and to coach them when they are going for an interview.

MrsDenousseexplainedthatalotofpeopledonotknowhowtobehaveinaninterview,howtodressforan interview and oftentimes do not feel confident enough when they must go for an interview. Resume Jet will do just that, it will help them to stand out above therest.
