As the world celebrates International Nurses Day, the story of Seychelles nurse Francisca Laurence stands as a powerful reminder of dedication, resilience, and an unwavering passion for caring for others.
At 45, Mrs Laurence – a married mother of three from Belvedere – has spent more than two decades answering what she now calls her true calling: nursing. Despite stepping away from the profession twice, she always found her way back to hospital corridors, bedside care, and the white uniform she deeply missed.
