FSA hosts 4th industry forum
The Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA) has convened its 4th Annual Industry Forum at the Eden Bleu Hotel, Eden Island, bringing together representatives from banking and non‑banking institutions, insurance providers, capital market practitioners, regulators, and other key stakeholders. The four‑day forum, officially opened yesterday by FSA chief executive Pascal Morin, is designed to foster frank, solution‑oriented dialogue on the challenges and opportunities shaping Seychelles’ financial services sector.
The discussions cover a wide spectrum: the growing interdependence between banking and non‑banking sectors, insurance and climate resilience, capital markets development, innovations in virtual assets, and evolving expectations around anti‑money laundering, taxation, and regulatory compliance. The goal is to move beyond routine consultations and strengthen collaboration between regulators and industry players, ensuring the sector remains resilient, reputable, and competitive in an increasingly complex global environment.
