President Faure sends message of condolence to President Trump |07 August 2019

President Danny Faure has extended a message of condolence to the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, upon hearing of the recent shooting incidents that have occurred in the United States of America, which have claimed the lives of so many innocent bystanders.

“In the wake of this tragedy, the government and people of the Republic of Seychelles join me in expressing our profound condolences to the people and government of the United States during this period of national grief,” said President Faure.

“I am confident that during these trying times, the resilient spirit of your beloved country will serve as a beacon of hope, which will be instrumental in the healing of your nation and in the restoring of a sense of normalcy,” added President Faure.
