The Seychelles Public Transport Corporation (SPTC) will revise its bus time table for both its Mahé and Praslin services effective Tuesday November 2, 2021.

A press release from the SPTC states that the changes will only affect off peak operations (between 9am and 2pm).

The time table for morning peak hours (between 7am and 9am) and afternoon peak hours (between 2pm and 6pm) remains unchanged.

Meanwhile the last SPTC buses will depart the Victoria Terminal at 7pm on Mahé and 6pm on Praslin.

The press release adds that these changes are necessary to improve customer service, decrease bus bunching and reduce non-productive trips.

Meanwhile copies of the timetable will be available on the SPTC website:www.sptc.sc Commuters can also get access to the electronic copy of the timetable in their respective work organisations.

The timetable is also available on the SPTC APP.

Commuters can further enquire about the bus timetable by calling the SPTC hotline on 4325252.

The SPTC would also like to encourage all its commuters to make use of their travel card when travelling on public buses and to ensure that they have a valid ticket at all times.

The SPTC has had a smooth transition with the implementation of the Cashless Project and passengers have been very cooperative. The SPTCs’ card usage has increased from 30% to 70%.
