President meets members of Seychelles COP26 Team in Glasgow |04 November 2021

The Seychelles team showing support for 1.5 degrees maximum increase in temperature of the planet

President Wavel Ramkalawan on Tuesday paid a visit to the Commonwealth Pavilion where he had the opportunity to meet the Seychelles technical team who are engaged in negotiations and discussions.

On behalf of the government and the people of Seychelles, he thanked them for their hard work and dedication and everything they were doing for the benefit of the country and the planet.

“You all are the experts and technicians working tirelessly on behalf of Seychelles and the planet. As a country and a people we are proud of all your efforts and express our sincere appreciation as you continue to make the voice of islands heard in all the various platforms and fora here at COP26. Once again thank you for your hardwork,” said President Ramkalawan.
