ISS PTA fundraising triumph empowers education

A successful fundraising campaign led by the Parent-Teacher Association has resulted in the procurement of a cutting-edge interactive whiteboard for the mathematics department in the secondary school, according to the International School Seychelles.

The interactive whiteboard, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, promises to revolutionise the teaching and learning process in the mathematics department in secondary. It will provide teachers with dynamic tools to engage students in interactive lessons, foster collaborative learning, and bring abstract mathematical concepts to life.

Principal Elodie Vallantine expressed her deep gratitude for the generosity of the school community.

"The success of this fundraising initiative highlights the strength and unity of our school community. The Parent-Teacher Association’s (PTA)  tireless efforts and the community's support have allowed us to invest in cutting-edge technology that will directly benefit our students in the maths department. We are excited about the positive impact this interactive whiteboard will have on teaching and learning."

The school anticipates the installation and implementation of the interactive whiteboard in the coming weeks, with teachers eager to integrate this advanced technology into their lesson planning.

The PTA extends its sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to the fundraising campaign, emphasising the vital role each participant played in making this acquisition possible.
