Fungus infestation at education ministry not alarming |29 February 2024
The education ministry has said the fungus infestation at its headquarters in Mont Fleuri is not cause for alarm and everything is under control.
In an interview with Seychelles NATION, education official Alex Souffe confirmed the infestation has affected a small store in one section of the department.
“It is nothing major. We had to close one store and we have mobilised our staff to clean the place and this is going well,” shared Mr Souffe.
According to Mr Souffe there was no need to close down the headquarters or evacuate staff.
