Seychelles will be celebrating World Wetlands Day through a number of activities this year, similarly to other nations that are members of the Ramsar Convention.
The annual event, which aims to highlight the importance of this ecosystem in the lives of communities globally, is celebrated on February 2. Since joining the Convention in 2005, Seychelles has organised various activities to celebrate the day.
