Praslin residents share views on Curieuse Island proposal

 

Residents of Praslin island have shared their views on the proposal to designate Curieuse island as a national park.

The initiative, which began in 2020, builds on existing protections for the island. The waters surrounding Curieuse have been designated as a protected area since 1979 and, together with the island, are currently managed by the Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority (SPGA).
