The British High Commission funded a recent visit by the leadership team of the University of Seychelles to Oxford University.

During the five-day working visit to the United Kingdom, the vice-chancellor of the University of Seychelles (UniSey), Joëlle Perreau and the Dean of the Faculty of Innovation and Research, Dr Justin Zelime, met with the vice-chancellor of the University of Oxford, Professor Irene Tracey, pro-vice chancellors Professors Martin Williams and Chas Bountra, among other key Oxford officials, on April 26, 2025.

This visit was part of an academic exchange initiated by the International Health and Tropical Medicine (IHTM) MSc group led by Professor Proochista Ariana, as part of a programme to strengthen collaborations between the two universities.
