New Thai ambassador accredited

Seychelles yesterday formally welcomed Morakot Janemathukorn as the newly appointed ambassador of Thailand during a ceremony at State House.

She presented her credentials to President Wavel Ramkalawan who extended his warm congratulations on her diplomatic appointment.

In his remarks, President Ramkalawan reaffirmed Seychelles’ commitment to strengthening its longstanding and dynamic partnership with Thailand.

During their discussions, they highlighted key areas of mutual interest and collaboration, including environmental conservation, tourism development, trade and investment, educational exchanges, and enhanced people-to-people relations.

Both parties expressed a shared vision for expanding bilateral cooperation and exploring new avenues for collaboration that would bring tangible benefits to the peoples of both nations.
