Fabio Morel excels; wins President’s Cup
Fabio Morel of Anse Royale has been recognised as the outstanding student of the Seychelles Institute for Agriculture and Horticulture for the 2023 -2024 cohort, earning him the prestigious President’s Cup.
Fabio received his trophy from President Wavel Ramkalawan during the institution’s graduation ceremony held yesterday afternoon at the International Conference Centre Seychelles (ICCS).
The 18-year-old was among 24 students who have successfully completed their two-year studies in Certificate in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscaping – Apprenticeship (10), Advanced Certificate in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscaping (2), Certificate in General Agriculture – Apprenticeship (9) and Advance Certificate in General Agriculture (3).
The ceremony was attended by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Honourable Roger Mancienne; the Minister for Agriculture, Climate Change and Environment, Flavien Joubert; the Minister for Employment and Social Affairs, Patricia Francourt; the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly, Honourable Sebastien Pillay; SIAH staff and board members; parents and sponsors among other guests.
