Celebrating every form of intelligence with DIA

Diversity in Intelligence Association is a non-governmental organisation that was officially launched in 2021 by three friends in order to raise awareness on different forms of intelligence that exist within our communities, through educating, empowering and mentoring.
From linguistic, creative intelligence to logical and social intelligence, the group strives to break the mold of traditional definition and recognises the unique strength that each person brings to the table.
Seychelles NATION spoke to one of the founders, Judelca Bonne, and a member, Jalna Isaac, who is also in charge of their media and marketing, who share the journey, success and mission of Diversity in Intelligence Association (DIA).
Ms Bonne said she and her friends namely Carah Loveday and Pamela Mathurin wanted to create an NGO but did not have any idea about what or knew how to go about it. It was then that another friend, Ivan Vidot, joined them and came up with the idea of an NGO based on intelligence. “Since he was a teacher he saw that there was a lack in diverse intelligence among students. He came up with the idea and the name diverse in intelligence,” she elaborated.
