SRC hosts appreciation ceremony for its HR, administration, internal audit and IT teams

The Seychelles Revenue Commission (SRC) yesterday hosted an appreciation ceremony in recognition of the hard work of a remarkable group of its dedicated officers.

The ceremony, held at its Maison Collet head office, was organised to mark key celebrations which occurred throughout the first quarter of 2025. These include International Human Resources Day, International Administrative Professionals Day, International Girls in ICT Day and International Internal Audit Awareness Month.

SRC’s Commissioner General, Varsha Singh, who was present at the event, handed over a small token of appreciation to the officers for their continuous support and for the positive impact they continue to make towards the SRC.

Speaking to the group of officers, Mrs Singh recognised their commitment and dedication, explaining that as the success of the SRC is dependent on people, it is important to not only recognise individual excellence, but also the collective efforts of the team who keep the entirety of the SRC operations running, as their role is critical and should not go unnoticed.

The ceremony also acknowledged over 15 officers across various departments within the commission for their unwavering commitment towards the success of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup held earlier this month.

Today's event reaffirms SRC’s commitment to fostering a positive culture of gratitude and recognition where every employee is valued for their ongoing contribution and commitment to the SRC.
