Beau Vallon primary school gets two water fountains
In order to promote healthier lifestyles among pupils, Beau Vallon primary school has received two water fountains from the H Savy Insurance (HIS).
The donation was made possible through a partnership between the Health Care Agency and HSI.
A handover ceremony was held at the school, in the presence of Dr Danny Louange, chief executive of the Health Care Agency; school officials and Ministry of Health representatives.
Dr Louange reminded everyone of the broader purpose behind the initiative which is part of the reducing obesity campaign in schools. “These two pieces of equipment are key to what we are fighting for — the prevention of diseases and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle. Encouraging children to drink more water is a simple yet powerful approach.”
