Seychelles welcomes new Tanzanian HC

Dr Bernard Yohana Kibesse is the new Tanzanian High Commissioner (HC) to Seychelles, after presenting his credentials to President Wavel Ramkalawan at State House yesterday morning.

Dr Kibesse replaces Dr John Stephen Simbachawene who was accredited to Seychelles in September 2022.

President Ramkalawan welcomed Dr Kibesse with warm congratulations, commending his distinguished appointment and reaffirming Seychelles' commitment to the long-standing and cordial relations with Tanzania.

The President also extended his best wishes for a fruitful and impactful tenure in this pivotal diplomatic role.

Dr Kibesse, in his introductory remarks, conveyed his deep sense of honour at being appointed High Commissioner to Seychelles.
