“It is with great joy and thanksgiving that we have learnt of the appointment of the Reverend Archdeacon Danny Elizabeth as the new Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Seychelles.

“We give thanks to God for Bishop James Wong’s faithful service and spiritual leadership, and we rejoice in this new chapter of the ministry. His deep commitment to the Gospel, pastoral heart and vision for the Church will undoubtedly be a blessing to the people and parishes of the Diocese.

“Do join the Seychelles Interfaith Council (Sifco) in offering our heartfelt congratulations and prayers for Bishop Elizabeth as he takes up this sacred calling.
