Workshop aims to improve communication and dissemination of statistics
The Pan African Statistical Programme II (PAS II), funded by the European Union and StatAfric, recently hosted a workshop in collaboration with the National Bureau of Statistics to improve communication and dissemination of statistical information in Seychelles.
The workshop from June 2 to 6, was led by Jon Olav Folsland, an international expert in statistical communication and dissemination. The initiative comes as part of efforts to strengthen the way official statistics are shared with the public, stakeholders, and decision-makers; a key component that has not always received sufficient attention in the past.
