Skychef treats paediatric patients

Children’s Day is celebrated annually in Seychelles, whether it is at home, in school or in different establishments around the country.

As customary every year, Skychef hosted a special lunch for the children who were hospitalised together with their parents or guardians, to spread joy to the children who were unable to spend this wonderful occasion with their friends at school or families at home.

This coincided with Children’s Day on June 1 and it took place at the Paediatric Ward on Friday May 30, 2025.

The staff from different departments in Skychef came together and beautifully decorated the entrance and waiting area of the Paediatric Ward where a lunch buffet was served.

The food was especially prepared for that day with the collaboration of the hospital team and approved in advance by the Ministry of Health and the buffet featured delicious and nutritious dishes such as chow mein, fried rice, roast chicken and many more.

A delicious and beautifully decorated rainbow coloured cake was especially prepared for that day and at the end all children were presented with a small gift prepared by the Skychef team.

The chief executive of Skychef, Veronique Laporte, expressed her gratitude to the team from the Ministry of Health who provided another opportunity for Skychef to host this great event for the children in the ward.
