Government housing projects on track as demand remains high

 

From January 2021 to June 2025, the government has constructed and allocated a total of 372 housing units across Seychelles, spending R408.7 million on the projects.

These developments aim to address the country's growing demand for affordable and mid-range housing.

The newly built units include 40 condominium apartments at Perseverance and 29 emergency housing units, referred to as transit homes. Out of the 29 transit homes, 23 are located at Ile Aurore, and the remaining 6 are in Les Mamelles.
