A vegetarian diet

 

Vegetarian diets continue to increase in popularity especially among young people. People of all ages, gender and background choose to become a vegetarian for various reasons and it is not always a simple choice as some may think.

For some it might be a personal preference or it could be due to health reasons, whereby they feel that removing animal products from their diet can help improve their prognosis. For others it is may be due to ethical reasons. This can include not wanting animals to be killed or harmed or being concerned with animal welfare and objecting strongly to how animals are treated on some large-scale farms.
