MACCE, Air Seychelles join forces to restore Caiman Estate wetland

The Ministry of Agriculture, Climate Change, and Environment partnered with Air Seychelles yesterday to restore the Caiman Estate wetland at Anse Boileau by planting different types of mangroves.

The activity was to commemorate World Mangroves Day, which falls on July 26.

Air Seychelles officially adopted the wetland on April 17 this year with the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Agriculture, Climate Change and Energy (MACCE), as part of their ongoing efforts to promote environmental sustainability.
