Seychelles gets first therapeutic community

The international therapeutic community, Fazenda da Esperança, translated to Farm of Hope, has officially opened a branch in Seychelles, located at Port Launay, Port Glaud.

The unveiling of the plaque on Saturday afternoon was done by the Head of State, President Wavel Ramkalawan, the President of Fazenda da Esperança, Father Jose Luiz de Menezes, the Apostolic Nuncio Bishop Tomasz Grysa and the Bishop of Port Victoria Alain Harel.

The ceremony also included the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Roman Catholic Diocese of Port Victoria and the Fazenda da Esperança, to consolidate the partnership between the two entities.
