Four members sworn in
Four newly appointed members of the Electoral Commission of Seychelles were sworn in yesterday morning at State House. The four individuals are Jenny Adrienne and Patrick Hoareau who have been re-appointed and new members Steve Pointe and Dr Bernard Monnaie.
Their appointment follows the conclusion of the term of office for four outgoing members on July 27, 2025. In light of 2025 being an election year – and in a bid to ensure uninterrupted operations of the Commission – the Constitutional Appointments Authority initiated the recruitment process as early as March 2025, publicly advertising the vacant positions to facilitate a smooth transition.
