Gaps in beneficial ownership law addressed through newly passed bill
A new bill addressing the gaps in the Beneficial Ownership Act (2020) has been passed by the National Assembly.
Presented by Vice-President Ahmed Afif on Wednesday, the Beneficial Ownership (Amendment) Bill sets out to expand the scope of beneficial ownership obligations, to encompass partnerships that are formed, incorporated, or established outside of Seychelles, but which conduct business within Seychelles.
