Potential National Assembly candidates make security deposits ahead of nomination day |16 August 2025

Potential candidates for the upcoming National Assembly elections took an important step in the nomination process by making their security deposits to the Electoral Commission of Seychelles on Thursday, August 14.

Each candidate was required to pay a deposit of R1,500, confirming their intention to stand for election, while also securing their place for the official Nomination Day, which will be held on Thursday, August 21, at the Electoral Commission of Seychelles (ECS) headquarters, Mont Fleuri.
