Tax revenues projected at R9.8 billion for 2025
Tax revenues in Seychelles are expected to reach R9.8 billion this year, according to figures released by the Ministry of Finance, National Planning and Trade.
Officials gave the update during a press conference held last Friday at Liberty House, where they presented the mid-year fiscal performance review. Principal economist Sophie Belle explained that taxes have been performing strongly when compared to previous years. She said this is mainly the result of reforms in several tax lines, including business tax, Value Added Tax (VAT), and personal income tax.
