Rockfall at Beolière damages road surface, water pipeline |16 September 2025

The Disaster Risk Management Division has confirmed that it was notified of a rockfall incident along the main road connecting Beolière and Port Glaud yesterday at approximately 7.05am.
In a communique released yesterday afternoon, the Disaster Risk Management Division (DRMD) said a large boulder detached from the slope and impacted the roadway, resulting in damage to the road surface and a Public Utilities Corporation (PUC) water pipeline. The incident also led to a road closure for several hours.
