Seychelles releases new data on fisheries, education and shipping

As Seychelles joined the international community to mark World Maritime Day onSeptember 25, new statistics have shed light on the evolving state of the nation’s maritime sector, from education to fisheries and vessel registration.

The figures, compiled by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) in collaboration with the Seychelles Fisheries Authority (SFA) and the Seychelles Maritime Safety Authority (SMSA), underline both progress and persistent challenges in sustaining the archipelago’s lifeblood industry.
