Low turnout at annual blood drive

 As part of the activities to mark Teachers’ Week, the Ministry of Education, organised its annual blood donation drive – an initiative that continues to showcase the compassion and community spirit of the education sector.

Initially planned for donors on Mahé, Praslin and La Digue, the activity took place only at the Seychelles Hospital on Mahé and saw the participation of Shamirah Bastienne, who was the only fit person to donate blood.
