PUC boosts water production on Praslin to ease effects of prolonged drought
The Public Utilities Corporation has announced that its efforts to increase water production on Praslin are showing positive results, following the recent upgrade of its desalination plant on Eve Island.
During a press conference held yesterday afternoon at Electricity House, Roche Caïman, the corporation’s chief operations officer, Ravin Sunassee, said the enhanced facility has been fully operational since Thursday October 16, and has already made a big difference in water availability for residents.
