President Herminie delivers first
address to the National Assembly
President Patrick Herminie delivered his first address to the National Assembly yesterday evening, outlining major reforms, social measures and his government’s priorities for the coming months.
Speaking as a former Speaker of the Assembly, a position he held for 10 years, President Herminie said he understood the importance of the institution in Seychelles’ democracy. “Together, today, we start a new chapter in the history of our country – a chapter based on unity, transparency, dignity and improving the lives of our people,” he said.
