Seychelles, along with the rest of the world, marks the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) today, December 3, with this year’s theme, ‘Fostering disability inclusive societies for advancing social progress’, placing renewed emphasis on the urgent need for equality, accessibility and meaningful participation for the more than one billion persons with disabilities worldwide.
