DRMD completes rock stabilisation works in Pointe Conan |11 December 2025

The Disaster Risk Management Division has confirmed the successful completion of rock stabilisation works in Pointe Conan, Anse Etoile.

The site was identified as a priority area under the St Louis Hill Stabilisation Project early last month, with the division announcing the start of urgent stabilisation work.

“The completed works form part of the government’s ongoing national efforts to reduce disaster risks and strengthen community resilience,” it said in a press release issued yesterday. 

The Disaster Risk Management Division in collaboration with its local stakeholders, has extended its sincere appreciation to the Anse Etoile residents for their patience, cooperation, and understanding throughout the implementation of these important mitigation works in Pointe Conan.
