Commission of Inquiry warns against fraudulent Facebook profile
The Commission of Inquiry (CoI) into the lease and development of Assomption Island has issued an official statement regarding a fraudulent Facebook account impersonating Commissioner Mathilda Twomey-Woods.
According to the CoI, the fake profile is being used to solicit funds under her name.
“This fake profile, operating under the name ‘Mathilda Twomey’, is unauthorised and in no way associated with the Commissioner of Inquiry,” the commission warned.
