Seychelles charts path to cheaper living through water, energy, and digital reform

Conservation of water, accelerated energy transformation, and enhanced digital connectivity have emerged as key priorities following Seychelles’ participation in Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ASDW) 2026.
At a press briefing yesterday, officials highlighted that engagements at ASDW were focused on turning international cooperation into practical solutions for national challenges. Water and energy were identified as critical sectors requiring urgent intervention, with commitments to long-term strategies that improve access to water and deliver more affordable electricity.
