Rotary Club of Victoria carries out tree-planting activity at La Misère school
The Rotary Club of Victoria, together with District Governor Bernard Leong Son, organised a tree-planting activity with pupils of La Misère primary school on Wednesday, January 21, reaffirming Rotary’s strong commitment to environmental conservation and climate action.
The initiative brought together Rotarians, teachers, and young learners in a hands-on exercise designed to foster environmental awareness from an early age. Children actively participated in planting young trees within the school compound, gaining practical knowledge about the role of trees in preserving biodiversity, improving air quality, and mitigating the effects of climate change.
