New SMSA board appointed

The new board of the Seychelles Maritime Safety Authority has been appointed.

Andre Ciseau will serve as chairperson, while Brigadier General Jean Atala will remain as vice-chairperson.

The other board members are: Captain Daniel Adam (chief executive and ex-officio member), Captain Peshala Medagama, Dericka Figaro, Chrissant Barbe, Veronica Bristol and Inspector Andrew Sinon.                                                                                                                       

The board members have been appointed for a period of 3 years, effective February 15, 2026.
