10-time winners Arsu Ladies rally to beat defending champs Tampon Gecko Volley
The 30th Confederation of African Volleyball Zone 7 Club Championship entered its third day, yesterday, at the Palais des Sports, with teams, particularly the favourites, striving to assert their dominance in the group stage with the hope of advancing to the quarterfinals.
Among the standout teams are local side Arsu Ladies, who currently top group B after an impressive victory over reigning champions Tampon Gecko Volley from Réunion. In a thrilling encounter, Arsu Ladies, who have won the competition a record 10 times, came from two sets down to win 3-2 (22-25, 23-25, 25-19, 25-17, 15-10).
