• Hugh Maria recognised for 15 years of service

Hugh Maria, 55, was honoured for 15 years of dedicated service during the Eden Island Village Management Association long-service ceremony held on Friday evening at Espace Bar and Café.

Currently serving as an APV driver within the security department, Mr Maria joined the Eden Island Village Management Association (VMA) in 2010 as a security officer, a role he held for nine years before being promoted to supervisor. He later chose to step down from the supervisory position to give another colleague the opportunity to grow, returning to work as an APV driver.
