Young mothers empowered through ‘Give to Gain’ session

The Seychelles National Youth Council, in collaboration with the Office of the First Lady and Elles Foundation, hosted a special empowerment session entitled ‘Give to Gain’ for young mothers as part of International Women’s Day activities.

Held yesterday at Olympic House, Roche Caiman, the session brought together young mothers for meaningful engagement focused on personal growth, emotional wellbeing, and community connection.

The initiative provided emotional support, practical guidance, and a safe space for reflection and sharing. It encouraged participants to recognise their strengths and potential as women and caregivers, reinforcing the message that while they give so much to their children, they too deserve opportunities to grow, learn, and thrive.
